AEI is 100% owned and operated by Jay Richardson and Arthur Richardson, an African-American, married couple. AEI has maintained its ACDBE Certification status with the Georgia Department of Transportation and with the City of Atlanta since 1995. AEI has also been certified as an ACDBE company by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey since December 15, 2006.

JAY RICHARDSON
Jay is a global purveyor of fashion, style, travel and design. Jay has a personal love of fashion, the arts, jewelry and decorative design. These exceptional skills were honed during a career that has combined the entrepreneurial activity in the travel retail business with a previous corporate career which included serving as an international marketing executive with several Fortune 100 corporations: Colgate-Palmolive, Ford Motor Company, Levi Strauss, and Starbucks.
ARTHUR RICHARDSON
Arthur is a true global citizen, having lived and traveled throughout the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia as a corporate executive, entrepreneur and consultant. After earning a JD law degree from Georgetown and a MBA from Harvard, Mr. Richardson spent 18 years in executive leadership at Dupont Company and Mobil Oil in the U.S. and in Europe. Through his extensive travels, Arthur enjoys design and cultural experiences including the visual arts and music. In 1994 Arthur and Jay Richardson founded AEI and from the beginning they have integrated into their business diverse global trends and influences which they have identified and sought from their extensive international travels.
